“The Theatre Time” is an international festival of theatres that has taken place in Opole since 2001. In June TAK School and the Association of Open Theatre organize theatrical meetings for the young actors’ groups and off-theatres that present street performances. The invited groups take part in theatrical workshops, during which the final joint spectacle is prepared. It is presented on the last day of the Festival.
All of the meetings included in the “Theatre Time” had their mottos in the previous years – they created themes of the prepared spectacle:

„Czas Teatru” to międzynarodowy festiwal teatralny, odbywający się od 2001 roku w Opolu. W czerwcu Towarzystwo Alternatywnego Kształcenia i Stowarzyszenie Teatru Otwartego organizują spotkania teatralne dla młodzieżowych i off-owych teatrów, które prezentują spektakle uliczne. Zaproszone grupy biorą ponadto udział w warsztatach teatralnych, podczas których powstaje wspólny spektakl. Jest on prezentowany publiczności ostatniego dnia Festiwalu.
Wszystkie spotkania w ramach „Czasu Teatru” w poprzednich latach miały swoje hasło przewodnie – będące tematem kreowanego podczas warsztatów teatralnych spektaklu.
